- TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION
Most of the time, your data is stored within the European Union.
However, when our service providers are located in countries outside the European Union, we share some of your data in third countries, including countries where the European Commission has not assessed the compliance level.
In this case, we ensure that this data sharing complies with the applicable regulations and guarantees the protection of your privacy and fundamental rights (e.g., using the European Commission’s contractual clauses). - SECURITY MEASURES
Through the technical and organizational measures we take, we can guarantee a security level in line with the risks for the rights and freedoms of individuals regarding the points mentioned in section 2. For this, we consider the origin, scope, context, costs, and state of knowledge, the purposes of the processing, and the identified risks.
Additionally, we comply with the PCI DSS payment card industry security standard, demonstrating our commitment to security.
- PROFILING AND AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING
Due to the automated processing we use (such as profiling), you are subject to legal effects that affect you. This is necessary for the conclusion or execution of the contract binding you to us. This allows us to offer and implement customer identification automation and “4x payment”. The basis of this operation is related to analyzing various variables concerning the type of products, services ordered, or customer profile.
If the risk is assessed as too high (fraud/non-payment) with these statistics, this payment method will not be offered.
However, if you wish, you can obtain human intervention even if the decisions are automated, giving your opinion and/or opposing the automatic decision.
- POLICY UPDATES AND REVIEW
Our personal data policy will be updated whenever necessary to ensure it always complies with the applicable data protection regulations (at least every three (3) years).
